- I feel being Irish in Philadelphia is great. There are so many places and ways to get involved. There are the Irish County Societies, the AOH & LAOH, and the Irish Center. There is so much Irish culture like Irish dance for all ages, Irish politcal awareness groups, Irish language classes, Irish music, the parades and the pubs. You can keep trying out new things and groups till you find your niche.
