My updates from the Lehigh Valley won't be interesting to you as you say you're looking for things in Philadelphia, so I'll do you the favor of not accepting.
There are some lovely Irish restaurants in Ardmore where they pull a fine pint. And the food is good as well. McCluskey's (my fav). Gillane's. Yeats. (great Black & Tan as well as Smithwick's on tap.) And there are a couple others as well.
