Hello Everyone!
Please forgive the cheekiness of my asking when you don't even know me yet --- but I feel strongly about this subject because the annual Celtic Fest and the Celtic Cultural Alliance (CCA) makes possible, directly or indirectly, a lot of great Celtic music in the Lehigh Valley.
Please forward this post as an email on to anyone who might be interested.

WIN $25 --- I am personally offering $25 in food & drink tickets good for the September 2009 Celtic Classic festival to the individual who raises the most money raises the most money during the "Kilted Celtic Crawl" fundraiser which culminates with the walk-a-thon/parade on May 17, 2009.
Winner to be chosen from registered participants who email me by May 12, 2009 that they accept my challenge.

This is my personal invitation to you -- to join me --- as an individual, or we could put together a team --- for a walk-a-thon the Celtic Cultural Alliance (CCA) is hosting to help support the
September 2009 Celtic Classic festival in Bethlehem.
* It's an easy walk on Sunday, May 17th, near the festival grounds in Bethlehem, PA
* $25 per person to register
* everyone registering by May 8th gets an "official T-shirt"
* They will have bagpipers and Irish dancers, the mayor, etcetera, leading the parade
The Celtic Cultural Alliance (CCA) is hoping that each walker will collect $100 or more in pledges --- proceeds to be donated to the CCA on May 16th and 17th
If you remember, last year it rained and rained until the festival grounds were totally flooded. Only a very few people turned out, so the festival lost money big-time. And this year, all the corporate sponsors and CCA memberships are down significantly because of the lousy economy.
The festival will be held no matter what.....
We are very lucky to have such a fantastic Celtic festival and Highland Games in the Eastern US right here in our own backyard!
But the Celtic Cultural Alliance (CCA) really needs our help to make this year's festival as great as we have come to expect from them.
You do not have to participate in the walk in order to help ---- just register and send the money you collect to the CCA.
If you wish to simply make a pledge to support the festival, please let me know whether I may name you as a sponsor - or whether you wish to remain anonymous. ---- Any dollar amount you feel good about would be truly appreciated ---- By tomorrow, April 23rd, there will be a button on my homepage at
www.LehighValleyCeltic.com if you wish to make your pledge online (by PayPal or credit card), or email me for my mailing address if you wish to send a check. ----- I will need the cash money in hand no later than May 17th in order to donate it to the CCA.
