I've just returned from a 7 day trip to the Canadian Maritimes, PEI, Cape Breton and Halifax, N.S. What great music we had! From a ceili/session in Charlottetown, PEI with Roy Johnstone joined by Fintan Malone to two great days of music with legendary Cape Breton fiddler/piano players Brenda Stubbert and Howie MacDonald to another ceili/session in Halifax with Kevin Roach, and a slew of his friends including Fintan, we had the best of reels, jigs, strathspeys, marches, waltzes, hornpipes and highlands. The people of this area are among the friendliest and most outgoing you will meet anywhere! Keep tuned for some pictures to be uploaded to the site!
