Yo, Joan ... yeah, I changed my picture. As I told Jeff Meade I'm hooked on tinkering with my page, the result of a basically addictive personality and living a rugged life in the Embreeville boondocks. Us settlers have to supply our own entertainment, and believe me, it doesn't take much to entertain a banjo player! ;>)
Plus I figure that changing my photo every so often compensates for all the slackers who haven't bothered to send in a photo at all.
You should come out to Coatesville for the all woman show on April 19th, as my guest. Dana Lyn has the East Clare / East Galway fiddle style down well.
Hi, Joan. How are you today? Well, I'm doing superb. Three years have elapsed since I was badly stricken with the word about Elizabeth's passing. Liz and I loved listening to Irish music by Altan and Dordan. Any album by Dordan is a great reminder of Liz for me 'cuz Mary Bergin, Kathleen Loughnane, and Dearbhaill Standun knew Liz for a long time. I'm proud of Liz for teaching me Irish Gaelic and her getting into the Delaware Valley CCE Hall of Fame.

You probably have more memories of Liz due to living in Jersey. I'm generally a homebody (a true Cancerian) although I did travel over to teach her Comhaltas class for a while, though (hope I'm spelling that right). Otherwise, Liz and I had a friend in common, Thomas Standeven - may he also rest in peace - which is mostly how I knew her - and probably most of that was in phone conversation!!!
