I've been a big fan of Irish, Scottish, and English folk music since I was young. Plus, I also like to make references between folk ballads (i.e., "16 Come Next Sunday") with other things such as TV programs like "Fawlty Towers" and "Gilmore Girls." Currently, I'm a second year student at Camden County College and a part time employee at the Garden State Discovery Museum. Each Thursday, I go to the 3 Beans for the Thursday night Celtic music session. I also teach younger children Irish tunes at the Irish Center in Mt. Airy, Pennsylvania every second Sunday of the month and meet with an Irish children's music group called the Next Generation.

Emma, High school's totally cool. first school year where i love all of my teachers, and they seem to like me.
as far as irish, english, and scots go, who are some of your favorite artists.
love to have a few tunes with you at the irish center,
Tim
I'm finding ballyphilly confusing and I wrote to you before I knew you wrote. I imagine that Liz would be very happy to know that she made a lasting impression on you with the music and language and that you will always remember her. I found a snowman ornament with three stars in my kitchen today - given to the boys once by Liz. I believe she worked in the Christmas shop on the boardwalk in Ocean City at one time and I think that long before I met her in Irish music - I met her there.
It's so nice to hear from you! Your page looks great. I will see you at the Beans this spring for some tunes. Say hello to that talking parakeet for me :-) Joan
