- About Me:
- Well not much to tell really. I'm in my early 40's, a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia, the husband of Patty Griffin and the father of a 9yo daughter Maeve and a 6yo son Phelim.
I married more Irish than I inherited, she’s 100%, I’m 50% at best (but there’s some in there).
For the past 2+ years I have been taking fiddle lessons with Brendan Callahan and have learned much but have a long way to go. I had no idea it would be this hard. But I will stick with it until I can play in public and no one runs.

Monday Night Fiddle Group at the Irish Center.
Currently taking Fiddle Classes at the Irish Center on Monday Nights with four other folks. We have a great group, led by Brendan Calahan. We are all at different levels and it works well.
We start at 6:30ish and end around 8:00 and then off to the bar for a pint or two, watching the set dancers and listening to some irish music.
