Where the Irish of the Delaware Valley meet

The April session will NOT be the second Sunday--which is Easter Sunday--so it will be April 19 instead. This is good, since it will be a rehearsal for the New Jersey Folk Festival performance on April 25 in New Brunswick NJ.

Let me know if you intend to perform at the festival with us.

Hi Blair: check the website for directions
the closest thing you can plug into mapquest would be the intersection:

Yes--one week later than usual--we'll have the young musicians session this Sunday, April 19 at the Irish Center from 1-3pm. We'll be teaching a tune, as usual and then we'll probably try to go over a bunch of tunes with the musicians that have committed to performing at the New Jersey Folk Festival the following Saturday in New Brunswick.

I'll have maps & directions to the festival with me. You can also check their website for direcitons and site map.
If you won't be at the session, here are the details:
Date: April 25
New Jersey Folk Festival on the Douglass campus at Rutgers in New Brunswick
http://www.njfolkfest.rutgers.edu/
Performance time: 11am on the Pinelands stage
Duration: 30 minutes
2nd set: with the Irish session on the Shore stage from noon-1pm, if you can stay to do that
Arrival time: by 10:30am
Wear your Next Gen t-shirts--but be sure to wear a jacket--it might be breezy and it was chilly last year.
