Hi Kathy, I'm looking for the info on the folk fesitval, but can't find it. Is the tune list posted?

Hi Dennis, Kathy told me the best date would be the 3rd Sunday that puts it at April 19th.. Looking back at the posts from last year I hope it doesn't conflict with the mid-atlantic fleadh ????

We had another great time with all the boys and girls on Sunday. We are looking forward to seeing the pictures again. Great choice for the tune. I hope everyone remembers the name! See you this week.

As I am sure you will. He was a bit nervous when the session set up but was coaxed onto the floor by a very nice person, I think it was Alexanders Mother. Of course, after the session, Patrick asked when we were going back. That's always the way. See you this week.

Hi Bob: this morning my student Haley said she met Patrick yesterday at the session. I was otherwise completely immersed in harps all weekend. She said that the Plains of Boyle was played during the session yesterday--that should have made Patrick get the bow moving. I'll reinforce the polka Chris taught and add another one to his list!

Hi Chris: yes, you've joined the group! They changed the date of mid-Atlantic fleadh to April 13. It's really a good idea--now when winners try to book a room in the All-Ireland fleadh town they have a shot at getting a place. Before when the NY fleadh was in June most of the places in Ireland were already booked. I've had students going to the fleadh for the past couple of years and they were always staying in places 45-minutes away.

Maybe we should take a group of NG'ers to see what it is like ?? Then we could join some of the locals in NY for a session afterwards ?? Ah the possibilities.. Hoping the NJ Fest is a blast !! Take care, Chris
