Where the Irish of the Delaware Valley meet

Or maybe not so off the path. My husband and I are planning to go back to Ireland next year. Did you find someplace the last time you were there that you really loved? Tell me about it!

Well, you could get a whole lot more info from yer man Jim McGill, but I really thought Ardara was a charming town with pretty much endless music in the summer.

I have lots of places in Ireland that I enjoy spending time. I'd have to say Kinsale is my favorite. I love the views of the sailboats in the harbor, the seafood is to die for (Jim Edwards does a seafood au gratin, all kinds of salmon and other fish and scallops, prawns whatever is in season in this sauce that's just incredible). Add in music most of the year and a blue flag beach not too far away, it explains why I seem to keep heading there. There are tons of day trips to be made from there also. I worked up a document for some friends last year who went and stayed for a couple of weeks, if anyone would like a copy it has directions and all. I've uploaded one of my photos taken near the Old Head of Kinsale golf course that's my favorite view in Ireland, finally got photo to add to the comment....
