BallyPhilly

Where the Irish of the Delaware Valley meet

Myself? A second bodhran (because one is never enough!), either by Albert Alfonso or Seamus O'Kane. Or, if Santy is being really, really generous this year, a vacation house by the sea in Ballyvaughan, within walking distance of Monk's. (Hey, I've been nice ...)

A winning powerball ticket would be nice...

Well, Jeff...first off...when I was driving through Ballyvaughan about a month ago, Monk's was closed! What a shock! I hope it was just for the day and not for good, it was a Monday afternoon about 4:00. And if you REALLY want to go to Co. Clare, don't forget the raffle we are running for the radio shows. Winner gets a trip to Ireland for two, with RT airfare to Shannon, a week's stay in Miltown Malbay (easy driving distance to Ballyvaughan), a standard car rental and admission passes to local sites. All for only $10 a chance or $20 for three chances. Yes, this is shameless solicitation but Santy Claus told me to do it!!!

Santy knows a good deal when he sees it.

A bummer about Monk's, though. Well, just as long as the Tea Junction is still there.

I have a brand new bodhran made by Albert Alfonso with a brand new case that I'm willing to sell...just in time for Christmas! Let me know.
