"Reel" Ireland

Join us as we travel to "Reel" Ireland tomorrow night (March 27) at the Irish Center! It's the first in a series of Irish films being presented as a joint venture between irishphiladelphia.com (Jeff Meade & Denise Foley), Yours Truly (host of "Come West Along the Road") and the Irish Center. We'll all be up to our arses in corned beef and cabbage. "The Quiet Man" will air on cable a few hundred times. Everyone will be falling all over themselv… Continue

Awesome Concerts...it's that time of year!

Last night at the Sellersville Theatre, I had one of those sublime moments in life. I was able to sit within 20 feet of the incredible Maura O'Connell! Along with Dolores Keane, Maura is my favorite female performer of any type of music, Irish, folk, lovesongs, blues, etc. What an incredible singer and woman she… Continue
